Professor Cheryl Kickett-Tucker AM

Professor Cheryl Kickett-Tucker AM is a Wadjuk Noongar Aboriginal from Western Australia. She is currently a research Fellow at Curtin University and the Founding Director of Koordoormitj Institute. As well as completing her PhD (Edith Cowan University, Perth), Cheryl also has a Master of Science (University of Oregon, USA), a Bachelor of Applied Science (Edith Cowan University, Perth) and an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Edith Cowan University, Perth). Her research interests include sense of self, Aboriginal identity and self-esteem of Aboriginal children, including the development of a series of culturally appropriate instruments for racial identity and self-esteem across the lifespan. She is the Chief Editor of Mia Mia Aboriginal Community Development: Fostering Cultural Security.
